CEO and founder of KOVYX. Jose Luis believes that instinct is not a gut feeling. It is wisdom. He believes it is cultivated over years of experience, of insisting tirelessly and learning both from your mistakes and from your successes.

The business owner highlights his driven personality, his desire to create new things, and his ability to listen and learn from his environment- from his team right through to the response from consumers and sales channels. Over everything else though, he emphasises his resilience to meet and overcome every new challenge head on. Only this way can a success story like KOVYX’s be written in the present day.

Trained lawyer, fishing enthusiast, natural-born public relations man, and with a killer instinct for business. Hugo Hernández-Franch, managing director for KOVYX, is convinced that to achieve big things, you have to be passionate about what you do, be committed and give to others as much as you ask from them.

He has worked for companies including Decathlon and Alcampo, where he met Jose Luis Nieto almost 20 years ago. Their relationship, based on mutual respect and trust, has meant that he now plays a key role in KOVYX, opening up new markets, developing new brands and leading logistics, equipment and other processes.
